Still blushing from last night! The Last Book (The Neverending Story meets Fahrenheit 451 as a female-driven dystopian fantasy) won Best Screenplay! I’m just one part of this Voltron as head writer, it wouldn’t have come to life without the rest of the 4 Elements Team: America Young, Beverly Hynds-Prior & Tara Platt. Thank you LA Femme for such a fun fest! And my fest buddy Nani Li Yang won for Best Writing in Feature for her lovely film Beneath the Banyan Tree too! We should always sit next to each other : )
